JBBG Smål – GRAN RISERVA

Bigband im Taschenformat

Nach einem fulminanten Opener im Dezember vergangenen Jahres startet die JBBG – Jazz Bigband Graz eine neue Reihe, in der sie in regelmäßigen Abständen musikalische Weggefährten von europäischem Format zu einem gemeinsamen Clubabend ins renommierte Grazer STOCKWERK einlädt. JBBG Smål – GRAN RISERVA nennt sich das Quintett um Trompeter und Sänger Horst-Michael Schaffer, Saxofonist und Flötist Heinrich von Kalnein, Keyboarder Uli Rennert, Bassist Thomas Wilding und Drummer Tom Stabler. Am 27. Februar geht’s los mit Ausnahmegitarrist Nguyên Lê, der schon auf ihrer bei ACT Music erschienen CD „Urban Folktales“ 2012 dabei war. Am 10. April folgt Trompeter Sebastian Studnitzky, am 5. Juni Österreichs Aushängesaxofonist Wolfgang Puschnig, am 16. Oktober der italienische Posaunist Gianluca Petrella und abschliessend am 4. Dezember dann der österreichische Drehleiervirtuose Matthias Loibner. Small is beautiful!

JBBG Smål – GRAN RISERVA ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe, bei der die Musik der JBBG – Jazz Bigband Graz im Quintett mit Gastmusikern präsentiert wird.
